Mika makes accounting simple.
We’re building an AI-powered platform that helps small businesses handle their accounting efficiently, accurately, and stress-free. For that, we’re looking for someone with solid accounting experience who’s excited about modern tools and being close to customers.
Your Role
- Review automated booking suggestions and complete missing information.
- Support the preparation of P&L reports, VAT pre-filings, and annual closing documents.
- Act as a friendly, clear, and competent point of contact for client questions.
- Collaborate closely with our product team to continuously improve our software.
- Document internal processes and contribute ideas for greater efficiency.
What You Bring
- Education and/or certification in accounting – e.g. as a financial accountant or certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter:in).
- 2+ years of experience in accounting – ideally in a digital or fast-growing environment.
- Familiarity with DATEV (Odoo is a plus, but not required).
- A structured, precise, and solution-oriented working style.
- Tech-savviness and curiosity for digital tools.
- German at C1 level – English is a plus.
