What is Mika doing?
mika is a start-up from Berlin that has developed AI-based accounting software for other founders. Our goal is to give growing companies the opportunity to organize their taxes and invoices efficiently and without extensive accounting knowledge. Mika's AI tool supports all daily workflows in accounting, decrypts letters from authorities and shows where you can optimize and save your finances.
Can I test Mika for free?
Of course! You can simply request a trial (at the top of the page). However, we recommend a short consultation call with our sales team. In it, we can give you a quick tour of the software so that you can get the most out of the trial time.
Important: However, mika only develops the full added value when we take over your entire accounting and you can fully concentrate on your business.
What is the point of using Mika?
With mika, you can save up to 80% of your accounting time and up to 60% of your tax consulting costs. But that's not all: mika thinks proactively and warns you of missing documents, deadlines and suggests optimization options.
With mika, you no longer do the bookkeeping for your tax advisor, but for yourself. Every todo has an associated savings potential. With this transparency, you can decide for yourself which todos you want to spend your precious time on and which are not worth the time spent.

I have a tax advisor who does everything for me... Do I still need Mika?
Are you completely satisfied with your tax advisor? Everything is running smoothly, communication is right and are you also satisfied with the price? Great - then you don't need Mika! We would even be delighted if you would contact us with your tax advisor, because good recommendations are worth their weight in gold.
But maybe there is a problem at one point or another? For example, DATEV Unternehmen Online really annoyed some of our customers. Or maybe the perpetual back-and-forth document when preparing the annual financial statements annoys you? In that case, Mika could be of interest to you. Because often, the tax advisor not only does the taxes, but also does the entire bookkeeping. But that doesn't have to be the case - and may cost you time and money unnecessarily.
Collecting documents and clarifying queries eats up time and money on both sides. However, you can easily outsource accounting - to Mika, for example.

Does Mika also account?
Yes! mika takes over the complete account of your receipts. Our AI automatically categorizes all business transactions according to the current account framework. We support SKR 03 and SKR 04. Of course, the account assignment is checked by our experts to ensure accuracy
