Dynamic VAT return
mika has prepared your UStVA (monthly VAT return) and you have receipts that belong in it? Just upload them and mika recalculates the return automatically.
Interest statements are recognised as their own document type
The Zinsbescheinigung (annual interest statement) from your bank now has a document type of its own: it is filed under Other, counts as checked automatically and is taken care of without you lifting a finger. One document less on your list.
Report drill-downs show you the amount that sits on the account
When you click an account or a cell in the SuSa (trial balance), the BWA (monthly management report) or the balance sheet, you see exactly the amount each booking set posted on that account. VAT and the net amount are listed separately, so you can see at a glance what a line is made of.
Revenue from selling fixed assets shows up in the BWA
When you sell fixed assets above book value, the revenue counts towards other neutral income and shows up in your BWA. The same goes for partly tax-free disposals of financial assets. Your BWA covers even more of your business that way.
Documents go by the same name everywhere
Every document carries the same German title everywhere in mika. You always search for the same name and find the document straight away. The same goes for expense reimbursements.
Scanned documents are recognised reliably
Text recognition now runs across two services that back each other up. Every scanned document is read reliably and goes straight into your bookkeeping.
