mika makes bookkeeping simple for small and medium-sized businesses: AI takes over the busywork, and our team makes sure everything is right in the end. We are growing fast, already look after several hundred customers, and that is exactly why we are looking for reinforcement in Customer Success.

From day one, you are the voice our customers hear. You work closely with a small, honest team and have real influence on how mika develops.

What this is about

You are the first point of contact for our customers and make sure nobody feels left alone. You guide new customers through onboarding to their first aha moment, and over time you take over your own fixed group of customers. Along the way, you have a good eye for what could run better in our processes, and you get on with making it happen.

Tasks

What you will do

  • Guide new customers through onboarding, from the initial setup to confident use of the platform
  • Be the first point of contact for questions, feedback and smaller issues, by chat, email or call
  • Make sure the pipeline runs cleanly and customers always know what the next step is
  • Spot patterns: where do customers get stuck again and again? What is missing in the onboarding flow? What can be automated?
  • Own a project of your own, such as expanding the knowledge base, improving onboarding or testing new workflows
  • Carry the customer’s voice straight into the team, as the link to Accounting, Product and the founders

Requirements

What you bring to the table

  • First experience in customer contact, whether CS, support, account management or a working student job with a feel for customers
  • A basic understanding of accounting or tax topics. A business degree or commercial training is completely enough; we will teach you the rest
  • Clear, empathetic communication (written and spoken) in German and English (fluent, around B2)
  • First experience with HubSpot is a plus
  • Structured thinking: you see not only the individual problem, but the process behind it
  • A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset: you would rather come with an idea than with a problem, and you simply get things done
  • The drive to help shape a fast-growing startup and bring in ideas of your own

Benefits

  • 100% remote in Germany or Austria. Where you work does not matter to us (Berlin for team events is a nice-to-have, not a must)
  • Flexible working hours: no rigid 9-to-5, but trust and personal responsibility
  • Real room to grow: we are growing fast, and whoever proves themselves grows with us
  • A small, collegial team where people have each other’s backs
  • A product that solves a real problem, and the chance to actively shape it

Sound like you?

Then we look forward to your application! A meaningful CV is enough, you do not need a long cover letter.
